Just when I thought we had finally wised up, we seem to be reversing course, and funding terrorists again! We are giving them humanitarian aid so they don't have to work to sustain themselves, and can spend their time and money on more worthy activities, like bombs, weapons and terrorism.
If they want charity, let them get it from the arab terrorist states they admire so much. Let Iran and our "friends" the Saudis support them with handouts.
Is this any way to ask for our "help"?...
Are these the sort of people we need to reward with financial aid? Looks to me like they have WAY too much free time on their hands. Honestly, I sometimes have to wonder if the the Muslims are right in thinking we are just too weak and stupid to even deserve to survive.

Yes - sabotage from within, by liberals. Not genuine classical liberals, but the modern fakes who are really communists and socialists pretending to be liberals, and the useful idiots they get to do their bidding.
They hate western culture and values, which they want destroyed and replaced with their imagined Marxist-John Lennonist utopia.
Using tools like "multi-culturalism", "political correctness" and the "thought police", they create an atmosphere where honest discussion cannot take place, where we have to doubt ourselves and everything we believe in, and where the individual must give in and conform to what the PC collectivists decide is right.
These leftists dominate our education system, where they have been poisening the minds of our youth for decades, teaching them to hate our country, doubt our values and forget our history. They also dominate the MSM, Hollywood... they dominate our culture.
Tammy Bruce has done a great job in her books, pointing out how and why this has happened, and what we can do about it. Why are the lefist liberals suicidal? Tammy has a theory called "Malignant Narcissism" to explain it. It's a form of pain and self-loathing that never heals, and is in fact amplified and projected outward; they project their own warped world view onto the world around them, trying to re-create it in their own image.
Tammy was deeply involved in leftist politics for years, and knows of what she speaks. She gives many examples, explaining it better than I can do here. I think she explains it best in her 2nd book, "The Death of Right and Wrong".
When fighting the good fight seems overwhelming to me, I have to remind myself what she said in her last book, "The New American Revolution". She said that the left got to where it is today by eating away at our culture, bit by bit, over a long period of time. It was through slow but steady, uninterupted perserverence that they progressed their agenda.
We too can do the same. We may not see instant sucess overnight, but by unrelenting perserverence, we can make progress for what we believe in. The key is to not relent. The left has gotten as far as it has because good people were cowed into silence, and did nothing.
I used to listen to Tammy Bruce every day until Sirius dropped her so that they could get Tony Snow's show back, right before he quit.
I agree with everything you said, but I am still puzzled by why the liberals, who are for the most part people form affluent backgrounds, hate this nation so much.
Never before in history has a nation done so much good for so many people. Not just its own citizens, but around the entire globe.

The short answer - the schools. Many if not most of the teachers hate America the way it is, and they pass that on to their students, from grade school right on through to college.
Many of the anti-war protesters in the 60's got college deferments to avoid the draft. They just kept taking courses, till they qualified as teachers. They were then able to dominate academia, only advancing and promoting people who shared their anti-american views. We are seeing the fruit of this now.
