Liar or Idiot? Pelosi puts her foot in it.

Does that sound mean? Well sorry, but you gotta wonder about this woman. What can explain this?

From Neal Boortz:
PELOSI -- IS SHE REALLY THIS OBTUSE?
Don't you just love that word ... obtuse? The dictionary gives us this: "not quick or alert in perception, feeling, or intellect; not sensitive or observant; dull. see Pelosi, Nancy"

Yesterday I told you that Pelosi had condemned the president for saying that Al Qaeda was involved in the insurgency in Iraq. She said that "the 9/11 Commission dismissed that notion a long time ago and I feel sad that the president is resorting to it again."

Now Pelosi made that statement on November 28th. November 28th would be 18 days after November 10th. That's two and one-half weeks. Eighteen days is enough time for even the obtuse Nancy Pelosi (sorry for the redundancy) to absorb the fact that on that date Al Qaeda released a video tape claiming that they had 12,000 fighters working in Iraq. Al Qaeda brags of the number of fighters it has mobilized to battle American troops in Iraq, and Pelosi says she is sad that the president is saying that Al Qaeda has fighters in Iraq.

We should all feel sad that this stupid woman is going to be the new Speaker of the House.
(bold emphasis mine) Sad indeed! Perhaps she thinks we are all as inattentive as she is. But is calling her inattentive too charitable? On Thursday Neal reminded us that the 9/11 Commission never issued any finding whatsoever saying that Al Qaeda was not involved in the insurgent violence in Iraq. Pelosi made that up.

She isn't even house speaker yet, and she's already dropping the ball. Will she be capable of handling the reigns of power as House Speaker? How well will she be able to work with the new moderate and conservative "Blue Dog" Democrats that were recently elected?

She is still pushing her far left agenda. She won't even consider a moderate Democrat like Jane Harman for chair of the House Intelligence Committee, even though many in the Democratic party consider Harman to be the most qualified.

Nancy isn't in San Francisco anymore, she has more NORMAL Democrats to deal with now. I hope she wakes up to that fact sooner rather than later. They won a majority in the last election by running more moderate and conservative candidates. They need to respect that.

Thank goodness some of the Democrats have a clue about what priorities are the most important. They need a stronger voice in the Democratic party.

There is too much at stake right now. Even some of the folks in the MSM are starting to get a clue. Let's hope, for all our sakes, that a significant amount of the Democrats will, too.
