President Pelosi continues to over-reach...
Not content with stumbling in Syria, it seems "President" Pelosi is considering posturing in Iran, too:
Pelosi, Lantos may be interested in diplomatic trip to Iran
Someone needs to explain to this woman that she is second in command to the President and Vice President, not the Second President.
What's her excuse? Posturing, of course. It's the Democrats specialty nowadays.

Negotiations have been ignored by our executive branch. I see nothing wrong with the legislative branch trying to build a bridge to the other side.
Do you understand the difference between the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch of our government? Pelosi was elected to the latter, not the former. Or is that only important when there is a Democrat in the White House?
What will she negotiate? When did that become the function of the Legislative Branch? Are the rules by which our government functions only applicable to Republicans? The Democrats increasingly seem to think so.
The Democrats had plenty of time to negotiate with Iran when they ran the Executive Branch. Bill Clinton thought the Iranian Mullahs were a great bunch of guys, he actually admired them. That's how we got where we are today.
If Pelosi wants to build on that legacy of her party, let her run for President.
