We moved from there over two years ago. Demonstrations and protests like this were so commonplace that it seemed almost ordinary. The city was filled with anti-war demonstrators with their faces covered in hankerchiefs, commiting vandalism, attacking the police, blocking traffic, getting up to all sorts of mischief.
The police would arrest them, the city attorney would not charge them, they would be let go without even their names being recorded, and do it all over again... month, after month, after month... it was like the city had been taken over by bandits.
The police were strained to the max, overtime costs went into the millions, it just kept getting kookier. Looks like the tradition continues.
Anyhow, those pics reminded me of some great video clips I found on the net, of the San Franciso war protesters. Conservative filmmaker Evan Coyne Maloney attended many of these marches and protests, and not only filmed them but talked with and interviewed the participating Moonbats, and the results were very telling, and sometimes outright amusing.I haven't downloaded Maloney's most recent efforts yet, but intend to soon. How many of those faces did you recognize? I saw a bunch who looked like customers in our restaurant or shoppers at the healthfood co-op. Or is it that lefties all look the same?
The faces were very familiar... the ones you could see. All the lefties with their faces covered with handkerchiefs (like bandits) looked very much the same. Not unlike terrorists in execution videos that also hide their faces.
